Serving suggestions & tips
- For a vegan approach, substitute the butter with olive oil.
- Render some bacon or pancetta with the butter and leeks before adding the rest of the ingredients for an extra savory touch.
- You may substitute leeks with scallions, cherries for dried cranberries, and/or pecans with pumpkin seeds or other nuts.
