Maya Kaimal's Speedy Butter Chicken
Maya Kaimal makes one of our favorite weeknight dinners even easier! Chicken thighs are cooked in rich and savory Butter Masala sauce and served with ready-to-heat Basmati Rice.

Ingredients
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- ¾ lb (340 g) boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (16.5 oz) jar Maya Kaimal Butter Masala Sauce
- Cilantro, finely chopped, as needed, optional
- Maya Kaimal Basmati Rice, warmed, for serving
Preparation
- Place the garlic, ginger, oil and chicken into the Anyday dish. Cover with lid (knob lifted).
- Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes or until fragrant and the chicken is partially cooked.
- Add the Maya Kaimal Butter Masala Sauce and stir to combine. Cover and cook for 4 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with Maya Kaimal Basmati Rice.
Serving suggestions & tips
- For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken for firm tofu or cauliflower florets.
- Enjoy with fresh naan bread on the side.
- You may substitute chicken with shrimp.
